4 Skincare Secrets
Your skin will often show the first signs of aging, as time goes by. So how do you deal with dull, lifeless, dry, oily or blemished skin? Here are four tips and tricks to help keep you looking youthful, for longer.
Go To Bed Fresh-faced
Be sure to remove all traces of your make-up before you go to bed.
The skin needs to breathe overnight, and any make-up left on your skin will prevent that. This can clog your pores leading to pimples, blemishes and blackheads.
Moisturising your whole body is the best way to stop dry skin from developing.
Applying lotion right after you shower or bath seals in the moisture that your skin has just absorbed.
You need to use sunscreen – with an SPF of at least 15 that blocks both UVA and UVB rays – whether you’re fair or dark, whether it’s cloudy or sunny outside.
Sun exposure causes age spots and wrinkles, makes stretch marks and scars darker, and can cause skin cancer.
Keep Your Face Clear
If you suffer from oily skin or acne and blemishes, be careful not to touch or rub your face, as this can cause pimples to form.
Ask others not to touch your face, and wipe your phone with some antibacterial wipes before chatting away on it for hours, or it can also cause breakouts.
